Sunny Shore’s Resort Hotel | Our Go-To Resort in Calbayog

Sunny Shore’s Resort is located on Maharlika Highway, Brgy. Baay, Tinambacan District, Calbayog City, Western Samar Philippines. In Calbayog, different towns offer different resorts with various amenities. In this feature, you’ll see our family’s favorite resort…so far! 😂

It is very common for our family to go to a beach or resort right after a holiday. Like today, with all the left-over foods that we have over New Year’s eve, we decided to extend the celebration, and go to the beach.

Sunny Shore’s Resort in Calbayog

The first thing we did when we arrived was to check their two villas, so we can decide which one to rent. They also have cottages for those who wanted to say during day time.

VILLA 1

Villa 1 is a 1 bedroom with its own comfort room that can accommodate 5 to 7 people. It cost Php 3,500 overnight. Check-in time is 2 PM and check-out is at 12 noon the next day.

VILLA 2

We love villa 2, it is a one bedroom, one living room, and one comfort room which is bigger than Villa 1. It can accommodate up to 10 to 15 people. It cost Php 5,500 overnight. Check-in by 2 PM and Check-out at 12 noon the next day. This is actually perfect for team building or barkada staycation.

This villa has its own Karaoke | Videoke.

The resort has a big common swimming pool surrounded by cottages for rent. We prefer the private pool and we go to the beach to swim.

The resort is very spacious you will never have an issue with the parking space, which is cool. Also, it gives you the province vibe with all the coconut trees within the area.

AMENITIES

COTTAGES AND TENTS – They don’t have an entrance fee (for now I guess). What you need to do is rent one of their cottages or tents good for 10-15 people. Additional Php 50.00 per person if you exceed the capacity.

For thrill-seekers, you can try their adventure amenities. You can rent their jet ski for Php 2,000 for 1 hour.

If you’re in a group, you can try their banana boat ride.

Or try our favorite, kayaking for Php 500 for 1 hour.

If you’re not into water activities, you can rent their Karaoke | Videoke.

We always had fun every time we visit. Staffs are very accommodating. This resort gave us a place to relax, chill, and enjoy.
