Siquijor Day Tour DIY Itinerary and Budget

Siquijor Day tour itinerary

Siquijor Day Tour is something that I never thought at first. I only heard of this place as the land of witchcraft and sorcery. 🙂 To be honest, I didn’t imagine that I will visit this place someday. Until a friend of mine told us that we can include a day tour in Siquijor as part of our Dumaguete trip.

SIQUIJOR is an island province in Central Visayas. It lies southeast from Cebu and Negros across Cebu Strait also called Bohol Strait and southwest from Bohol. One of the most popular route going to this island is a ferry ride from Dumaguete.

How many hours travel from Dumaguete to Siquijor?

There are a lot of ferry and fastcraft from Dumaguete Port to Siquijor from 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM. One way ferry ticket to Siquijor starts at PHP 120 and travel time is almost 2 hours. While one way ticket for fasctcraft cost PHP 210 and travel time is more or less 1 hour.

How do I get around Siquijor?

When we arrived at the port, there are a lot of tricycle drivers offering a tour for Php 1000 for 1 day. But there are also other options like renting a multi-cab if your travelling in a group or renting a motorcycle. Drivers serves as the tour guides already. Since me, my sister and ate cha don’t know how to drive, we decided to take the tricycle.

We don’t have a fixed itinerary that day but we do have a list of places we wanted to visit. Some of the drivers will ask you where do you wanted to go, so much better if you already have an idea of the tourist spots.

How many days do you need in Siquijor?
