Singapore Jewel Changi Airport – Travel Guide

Singapore Jewel Changi Airport

Singapore Jewel Changi Airport is not just about the airport itself; it’s an attraction in its own right. Whether you’re a traveler passing through Changi Airport or a local resident looking for a unique outing, Jewel offers an extraordinary blend of nature, shopping, dining, entertainment, and architectural wonder. It’s an experience that showcases Singapore’s commitment to innovation, sustainability, and creating unforgettable memories.

Singapore Jewel Changi Airport

The original plan was to visit the Rain Vortex of Singapore right after we arrived in Singapore. But our flight got delayed and we arrived at Changi Airport at around 2 a.m. so we decided to skip it on our first day and reschedule it for our last day in the country. If you will also do the same, I suggest going to the airport early because if you take the MRT to Changi Airport, you will arrive at Terminal 4 and you need to ride a shuttle bus to take you to the Jewel.

Singapore Jewel

At the heart of Jewel is the breathtaking indoor garden known as the Forest Valley. It features thousands of plants, trees, and a cascading indoor waterfall, the Rain Vortex. The Rain Vortex is the world’s tallest indoor waterfall, and it transforms into a mesmerizing light and sound show in the evening every 7 p.m. and 9 p.m.

If you have a long layover or need to rest, Jewel houses a hotel called YOTELAIR Singapore Changi Airport, offering comfortable and convenient accommodations.
