Getting to Cellar Door is an adventure in itself. We hopped on a tricycle from town, which is one of the easiest ways to reach this spot. It’s not too far, but just enough to feel like you’re leaving the town’s main roads behind and heading into nature. The ride is quick and offers a glimpse of Sagada’s beautiful landscape as you wind through the quiet roads.

As we pulled up, I immediately noticed that Cellar Door has an aesthetic that feels like it’s been carved out of nature itself. The exterior resembles a cozy rest house, set in the middle of a forest. The wooden structure, surrounded by trees and greenery, radiates a sense of calm and seclusion, making it an ideal spot for unwinding. It’s as if you’ve stumbled upon a hidden sanctuary deep in the woods.

The sausage was flavorful and juicy, while the sourdough, freshly baked, had a perfect crust with a soft, warm center.
