Modern Toilet Restaurant A poo-themed restaurant in Ximending, Taipei

Modern Toilet Restaurant (Chinese: 便所主題餐廳) located in Ximending, Taipei is a unique restroom/toilet-themed restaurant.

For the sake of a “must-try” recommendation we received from a friend who visited Taiwan, we decided to dine in this Modern Toilet Restaurant.

How to go to Modern Toilet Restaurant?

From Taipei Main Station, we went to the Blue Line platform which is the Bannan line. Then we transferred to just one station and alight to Ximen station. We went out to exit 6 arriving at the Ximending walking district. From there, we used Google Maps. The restaurant is on the same street as Tiger Sugar.

They have a rule that all customers should at least order one each from the menu. A group of three can’t share one meal order.

If you ask me if I’m going to recommend the restaurant to my friends who will visit Taipei, YES – I will. But if you ask me if I will go back again – hmm I’ll probably pass. 😎 There’s nothing fancy for me. Foods are a bit pricey compared to some restaurants within the area.
