After enjoying the view at Marina Bay Sands, we made our way to Lau Pa Sat for dinner. It’s very accessible by public transport.
🚇 By MRT (Fastest Route)
- Take the Downtown Line (Blue Line) from Bayfront Station
- Get off after just one stop at Downtown Station (D17)
- Walk about 3 minutes using Google Maps
🚌 By Bus (Scenic Route)
We chose the bus for a more scenic view of Singapore at night.
- From Bayfront Station Exit A, we boarded Bus 106
- Got off after 3 stops near Downtown Station
- Walked around 3 minutes to Lau Pa Sat Hawker Center

🍜 Our Personal Experience at Lau Pa Sat
The first thing we noticed? The lights.
Lau Pa Sat was so bright at night, buzzing with energy from locals and tourists alike. Food stalls were lined up left and right, and the smell of spices, grilled meats, and broths filled the air.
Finding a table was a challenge—it was that packed! We waited patiently for a group to finish so we could finally sit down. But the food hunt? Totally worth it.
I had one mission: Try Laksa.
After a few minutes of stall-hopping, I finally found a vendor selling this famous spicy noodle soup. And let me tell you—it did not disappoint.
🧑🍳 My parents ordered roasted duck rice, which they thoroughly enjoyed.
🥢 My siblings got some pork dishes that also hit the spot.
🍰 To cap off the meal, we shared a toasted cheesecake—creamy, warm, and just the right amount of sweet.
We left full, satisfied, and happy.
