Our main agenda for the day was to look for affordable and cheap clothes we could use for work. We were able to accomplish that at Taytay Market, where there are a lot of clothing stores that sell at a much lower price than in the malls. It was fun and I felt satisfied that I was able to buy so much stuff with the small budget I had. But before going home we decided to try a cafe restaurant named Jill and Pops Kitchen Cafe which is also located in Taytay.

How to Go to Jill and Pops in Taytay, Rizal?

Anywhere from Ortigas or Felix Avenue, ride a jeepney going to Angono Highway or Binangonan Double Highway (don’t mistake it for Binangonan Floodway). Tell the driver to drop you off at Meralco Village (the nearest landmark is Puregold). There are tricycles going to Jill and Pops, but I highly recommend using Google Maps and then walking from the gate instead.

Or if you are from Taytay Tiangge Market, just take a tricycle going here for Php 15 each.

Place and Ambience

This is the interior of Jill & Pops. It’s quite spacious and the ambiance is very cafe vibe with the aroma of the coffee. It is very bright and cozy.

The venue is a great place to hang out with your family or friends. But this is not a place where you can work online because there are no sockets and Wi-Fi available.

Jill and Pops Kitchen Cafe Menu

Here’s the link to their complete menu list. Since we were a bit tired from all the walking that day, we decided to go heavy with our meals. We ordered their famous Kare-Kare Php 279, Ramen Php 280 and Grilled Pork Belly Php 240.

After that heavy meal, we got a slice of Blueberry Cheesecake Php 174 and hot caramel macchiato Php 155.

We enjoyed the food so much. I actually never thought that there was this kind of restaurant/coffee shop here in Taytay. So if you happen to be in this area make sure to try dining here.
