It was my second time in Singapore, and I thought I had already ticked off all the major tourist spots. But then I discovered this hidden gem—Fort Canning Tree Tunnel—and I was reminded that the beauty of traveling lies in discovering something new even in familiar places.

We arrived early, around 7:00 AM, thinking we’d beat the crowd. But to our surprise, there were already people lining up for a chance to take that iconic photo. It was hot, and after some time, my parents decided to wait for us in the park because the heat was getting a bit too much for them—a reminder that if you’re traveling with seniors or kids, this spot might require extra patience.

We finally got our turn at 9:00 AM, and yes, the wait was worth it. We took some beautiful photos that captured the dreamlike charm of the tunnel. The natural light beaming through the leaves made everything look magical.

After our mini photoshoot, we cooled off with some drinks from the 7-Eleven just nearby—refreshing and much needed! Then we headed off to our next destination, hearts and cameras full.
