Crystal Beach Resort, Zambales – Travel Guide + Itinerary

Crystal Beach Resort is located in Brgy. La Paz, San Narcisco, Zambales. It’s a 4 hours drive away from Manila.
It’s been two months since the last time that we went out of Manila for a short vacation. And so, me and my siblings decided to look for a beach in Zambales. After doing some research, we came across Crystal Beach Resort’s pictures on Facebook. After reading reviews about it, we packed our things and get ourselves ready.
We left Manila at 9:00 AM on Thursday. We wanted to avoid the crowd so we went there on weekdays.
How to go to Crystal Beach Resort, Zambales?
We bought our tickets at Victory Liner Station in Cubao bound for Iba, Zambales. They also have terminals in Pasay, Caloocan, and Sampaloc. For the schedule, check out their page and enter your origin and destination (Iba). Tell the conductor to drop you off in San Narciso, Zambales. Fare: Php 315. Get off near San Sebastian Church in San Narciso, Zambales. Ride a tricycle to Crystal Beach Resort. Fare: P30 for 2 pax.
I think also need to add how to go back to Manila. If it’s weekend or peak season, tricycles are just waiting outside the resort but if it’s not, when you check out from the resort, ask the receptionist where you can ride a tricycle going to the bus terminal. They are kind enough to call one for you.

What to expect in Crystal Beach?
We didn’t reserve a room beforehand. 😎 I was actually confident that there will be available rooms since it’s weekdays. Though, it’s still advisable to book online or contact them- to be sure.
We arrived there at 1:40 PM just in time for check-in. (Check-in time – 2 PM: Check-out time – 12:00 noon). We got an air-conditioned room for 3.
They have this complimentary stuff in the room where we stayed.
After setting our bags. We rest a bit and then started to explore the area. The first thing that got our attention is this bamboo “hallway”. I don’t know what to call this. But it was so cute.
They also have a body massage and tattoo area. But it’s not available when we get there. Or we need to inform the admin if we wanted to avail? Well, we don’t have plans so it didn’t matter.
Look how beautiful these trees are.
They also have tents available for those who wanted to experience glamping. They have different rooms and cottages to meet different needs – small rooms for couples, and bigger rooms for a group of friends or family. It’s up to you to pick which style and budget suits you. Seeing these tents makes me want to try glamping in the future.
Beach Area:
The place is actually huge and peaceful. The beach has a nice view. They have small huts and beaches where we enjoyed watching the sunset.
We took our dinner in their restaurant. Meals are a bit expensive. But it’s ok. Masarap naman. 😂 I enjoyed the breakfast buffet the next day. It has a wide variety of choices.
On day two, after eating breakfast we continued exploring the area. We found this cute area – they call the jungle. It has cottages at the side and surfing pads for those who wanted to try surfing.
I really enjoy our stay at the resort. Though I wish they also have a swimming pool. Wow! Nagrequest. 🤣
