Cebu-Cordova Link Expressway (CCLEX) – The Longest and Tallest Bridge in the Philippines

CCLEX or the Cebu-Cordova Link Expressway connects mainland Cebu from Cebu City to Cordova town on Mactan Island. It is now the longest sea-crossing bridge in the Philippines, dethroning San Juanico Bridge a 2-kilometer bridge between Samar and Leyte.

How much is the toll fee in CCLEX?
This is a toll bridge & motorists are expected to pay a fee of ₱90-₱270 per way depending on car class.
Class – Type of Vehicle Class – Type of Vehicle Class 1M (Motorcycles with engine displacement from 110cc–399cc) ₱60.00 Class 1
(Cars, motorcycles 400cc and above, SUVs, jeepneys)₱90.00 Class 1 above 7 feet (2.1 meters)
(vehicles with recreational equipment)₱180.00 Class 2
(Buses, light trucks)₱180.00 Class 3
(Heavy trucks and trailers)₱270.00
The groundbreaking ceremony for the Cebu–Cordova Bridge was held on March 2, 2017. This 8.9-kilometer modern toll expressway is now Cebu’s newest icon.
I was able to see it first in person last week when we went to Cebu. I took a ferry from Calbayog, Samar going to Cebu Port. Waking up early is so worth it because I got to see it while having a coffee as we approached Pier 1.
